Compensation Application

ImageThe Victims Compensation Program provides limited financial assistance to victims of violent crime who have experienced a financial loss as the direct result of the crime, as long as the loss is not reimbursable through other sources, such as insurance.

The Vermont Victim Assistance Academy

Vermont Victim Assistance Academy logoWhat is the Vermont Victim Assistance Academy (VVAA)?

The Vermont Victim Assistance Academy is a 42 hour training series that is a practical, interactive, research based training which is presented by seasoned professionals in the field. The curriculum has been developed by local experts to reflect Vermont’s community best practices and needs; and includes a well-researched text serves as a comprehensive resource manual. The Academy coursework features case studies that draw on professional knowledge while emphasizing collaborative best practices. We offer free CLE & CEU credits.
